There was this place, where the summer heat was unbearable. I wished for shade, for protection from the heat. Unbeknownst to me, a tiny seed flew down from the heavens and buried itself in the soil. It took root and sprouted in the shadows behind a fence. All alone, it grew and grew. What seemed impossible was already in the making. What I felt was missing, was already on the way.
I couldn’t see what was happening until it had grown taller than the fence. But suddenly there it was, a beautiful tree just where I needed it. It widened and blossomed, just as I had desired. God heard me when no one else could hear me. And sent a miracle, just for me. Little, humble, human me.
