You’ve Been Chosen

If you’ve struggled with the insecurities produced by rejection, this is a word for you. Because Jesus is so protective of His bride, He wants you to know that you are seated in Heavenly places with Him (Ephesians 2:6). The rejection of any man is the sovereign protection and redirection of your Heavenly Father.

In your desperation you would’ve settled for far less than God’s best.

In your impatience you would’ve partnered with someone not suitable for the kingdom purposes God has for you.

In your loneliness you would’ve tolerated things that could’ve harmed your relationship with the Lord or thwarted His plans for you.

Through the lens of insecurity you see yourself outside of the room, standing at the door waiting to be chosen…when the truth is Jesus has already paid the price for you to sit next to Him in the throne room, where not just any man has access. Through the rejection Jesus suffered, you were chosen. Therefore it’s a lie of the enemy to say that you’ve not been chosen. You are chosen and protected by the one who matters the most, chosen by God before He even formed you.

In your surrender to His perfect will you are safe and empowered by His wisdom to choose your partner wisely. Pursue your identity in Him. Through intimacy comes conviction, repentance and permanent healing, and through your healing will come freedom, wisdom and faith. The outcome will be that everything that is aligned with His perfect will, will eventually find you. He is faithful. Remain in your rightful place and the man who has been given access to you by the Father alone, will be allowed to pursue you. The man worthy to receive you as his bride will love you like Jesus loves you, accepting you as you are, seeing the beauty of who you are and cherishing you as you continue to be molded and matured by your Heavenly Father.
